Nigeria Hope Tour

In partnership with Bishop Noah Effiong, founder of African Global Ministries Network and ANS Ministries representative in West Africa, ANS Ministries conducted the Nigeria Hope Tour 2013 in Ikom, CRS.   This event was the first of its kind ever done in this region, where over 12 villages were mobilized through the All Nations Soccer Cup, leadership conference and gospel crusade. We were honored to have present at the final match of the ANS Cup the monarchies from several of the participating villages. Watch the videos below describing more about this incredible experience.

Nigeria Hope Tour 2013

The ANS Cup is a soccer tournament designed to mobilized communities so that fans and participants may be exposed to the character and gospel of Jesus Christ.

The method entails: 1) Sharing character principles before the games are played. 2) Recognize examples of each character throughout the tournament.  3) Reward participants according to character and athletic performances 4) Present the Hope of the Gospel at the conclusion of the tournament.

Character Talk - ANS Cup

The ANS Cup allows a very unique level of influence and interaction with the athletes. As the tournament progresses, the competitiveness and ego of the athletes can bring the best and at times the worst out of them. The ANS Cup recognizes these variables and works  to make the most good of these opportunities by teaching character principles before and in some cases during the half time of the games. The ANS Cup has proven to be very effective in promoting unity and respect in the villages communities.
